Bringing It All Together

Okay, I just looked at another hobbyist's blog and see that someone else is doing book trailers. So, I may change my product/topic. My first thought was doing something on the topic of internet safety and/or online etiquette. So, I may do that. Not sure what the final product would be. I'm thinking of either a video or comic. Maybe students could choose? I'll have to decide that as I research! Oh, decisions, decisions!

Bringing It All Together

I’m still deciding on my product for this venture, but I'm thinking of making a book trailer. Of course, I spend a lot of my time encouraging reading, so this would be a useful product. A book trailer can be a tool I use to encourage students to read, but it could also be a product a student could create. If a student creates a book trailer, it would cover several language arts TEKS. I think students will be much more intrigued in any book I present through the use of a book trailer, compared to just telling them about the book myself. If they produce one, I think they will be much more excited to do that than to simply write a “book report.” Technology always has their interest over anything else!
